TERMS & CONDITIONS - ARC CONSUMER SCHEME STAR CEMENT - ROE

The ARC CONSUMER SCHEME is operative from 1st June 2022 (00:00 A.M.) till 30th September, 2022 (MID NIGHT). The scheme date may be extended or changed as per discretion of the management.

The Scheme is applicable for the given areas of North Bengal and Bihar Region – Sikkim, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Coochbehar, Uttar Dinajpur, Kishanganj, Katihar and Purnia only.

The Scheme is applicable to Star Anti Rust Cement only. To be eligible, end customers will have to buy minimum 60 bags of Star Anti Rust Cement within the aforesaid period. There is no upper limit.

Dealer will enter details of end customer (Name, Mobile Number and quantity of Star Anti Rust bags purchased) in Star Saathi App for Sale registration.

Dealer can place redemption request of the gift item as per their eligibility through Star Saathi App during the scheme period and gifts will be sent for eligible end customers to Dealer counter as per address recorded with us.

Additionally, Bumper prize – Bike, will be awarded to lucky winners. These winners will be decided through online lucky draw which will be conducted every fortnight/monthly (as per discretion of SCL), which will be informed well in advance.

Gifts will be disbursed between 1st June, 2022 and 31st October, 2022.

If you are an individual legal resident of the Republic of India and 18 years or above age at the time of entry and operate from aforesaid locations, you are eligible to participate in the Contest.

Star Cement Limited’s officials, employees, workmen, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and any affiliates, advisors, advertising/ promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or kind. In the event the winner does not take the Prize within the time and manner stipulated, then the Prizes will be deemed to be forfeited. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Any unused prizes are not-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be clubbed and exchanged for cash or kind.

Once prizes are delivered to the end customers, no subsequent claim/demand from any other person will be entertained. Company’s responsibility will be extinguished upon delivery of the prize.

Any expenses, taxes etc., if applicable shall be borne by the Participants.

The Prizes will be provided on an “as-is basis” and without any express or implied warranty or guarantee concerning the quality, suitability or comfort.

By participating in the Scheme, the end customers have and are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions of the scheme.

Sale Registration/Gift Redemption request received after the scheme period is over shall not be considered and will be rejected.

Sale Registration/Gift Redemption request received is further subject to checking and verifications by SCL or by any agency appointed by SCL.

Purchase of Star Cement Bag does not entail any confirmed benefits under the Scheme.

The Scheme is operated by SCL and SCL reserves the right to cancel or debar any entry at its own discretion.

SCL reserves the right to change/modify the terms and conditions of this Scheme or to withdraw this Scheme and/or any of its prizes/benefits at any point of time without any notice to that effect.

SCL shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations and may cancel all or any part of the Scheme without any liability to any person whatsoever.

SCL shall also not be responsible for any loss or damage if it has to discontinue or cancel the Scheme in compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, requirement or instruction of any Central/State Government or for any other unavoidable force majeure reason beyond its control. The end customers shall be informed of such discontinuance/ cancellation at the earliest by publishing the same in web site of the Company.

SCL will not be responsible in case any of the terms of the Scheme are misunderstood or misconstrued by the end customer.

None of the provisions of these terms and conditions shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or agency between end customers and SCL and end customers shall have no authority to bind SCL in any manner whatsoever.

SCL accepts no liability for any errors or omissions, whether on behalf of itself or any third parties.

In no event SCL shall be liable for losses or any incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the scheme.

SCL shall not be liable if the winners are not able to collect the gift attributed to them for failure of the end customers for any reason.

SCL shall be free to reproduce, use, display, disclose and distribute the information to third parties or through any media in future without limitation for the purpose of marketing and no other permission of any manner shall be required from the end customers in this regard.

Star Cement Bags are also available without participating in the Scheme.

No two offers can be clubbed and the prizes cannot be carried forward.

Any disputes are within the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Court.
