Our state of the art integrated cement plant is based in a strategic location in the idyllic town of Lumshnong in Meghalaya and three grinding units, two at Sonapur near Guwahati, Assam and one at Mohitnagar near Jalpaiguri Town in West Bengal ensures easy availability of the best cement to our customers

In addition to the Lumshnong plant, we also have cement manufacturing units in Sonapur near Guwahati and at Mohitnagar near Jalapiguri thereby, aggregating the installed capacity to 7.7 (MTPA). The company keeps a mission to increase the capacity to 25 MTPA by 2030.

Preventive care prevents illness with vaccinations and screenings, promoting well-being. Star Cement healthcare encourages such practices to ensure employees stay healthy and active. Curative care treats health issues with medications and surgeries, cutting long-term healthcare costs. Star Cement healthcare believes in a balanced approach, combining both preventive and curative methods to provide comprehensive care for all.

Hospital at Lumshnong

In the Lumshnong plant site, Star Cement has built a hospital along with round the clock ambulance service. The company made a generous effort to serve people during the time of emergency and critical care so that people are able to get timely medical attention.

Star Cement has provided preventive and curative medical facilities towards communities in remote areas of Meghalaya, Assam and West Bengal. Several healthcare camps were organized in Meghalaya, Assam and West Bengal to serve thousands of villagers with free medical check-ups and medicines. Eye problem is also an issue in these areas. So, several eye care camps were organized and people were served with necessary clinical test, spectacles, cataract surgeries etc with medicines.

Intensive health awareness programmes were conducted on public health promotion, family planning and maternal health with the help of State Health Department benefitting all neighbouring communities who is looking for health service at their doorstep.
