Management of daily waste disposals in a proper systematic way has a deep impact on the environment. In the Lumshnong and Umsahi villages of Meghalaya, a system has been developed to ensure proper disposal of daily household waste materials by creating awareness among 6000 community people. A waste management system was developed to establish a clean village concept among the villagers. These villagers are enthusiastically engaging the local community to create a clean and hygienic village environment in-plant operational area.
